The rod magnet integrated in the float activates the reed contact in the magnetic switch precisely when the switching position is reached. The bistable design ensures a stable switching state, even when the float leaves the position again.

External mounting on the standpipe enables retrofit installation without process interruption. The contactless magnetic technology creates no wearing parts in the switching area – for maintenance-free long-term operation.

The clear switching signals can be seamlessly integrated into PLC, control systems or local controls, providing maximum flexibility for your automation solutions.

Explosion protection versions

Ex i (intrinsically safe): For zones 0, 1, 2 – energy limitation prevents ignition

Ex d (flameproof): For zones 1, 2 – flameproof enclosure encapsulates sparks
